Privacy Policy for Amazon Orders Exporter
Amazon Orders Exporter processes Amazon order information locally in your browser so you can filter orders, preview rows, and export data to Excel or Google Sheets. If you enable Google Sheets append, data is sent only to the Google Sheet you choose.
Overview
Amazon Orders Exporter is a Chrome extension that works on Amazon.com order pages you open while signed in to your own Amazon account. The extension reads order page content in your browser to generate user-requested exports. The extension does not sell your data, does not use advertising trackers, and does not transmit your Amazon order data to developer-owned servers.
Information the extension handles
The extension may access or process the following information from Amazon order pages:
- Order numbers and order dates
- Product names, quantities, prices, and totals
- Shipping addresses shown on order detail pages
- Tracking numbers, if you enable tracking-related features
How the extension uses information
The extension uses this information only to provide requested features, including:
- Reading Amazon order-history and order-detail pages you choose to scan
- Applying filters you select (date, totals, item price, address text, and related options)
- Previewing matching rows inside the extension
- Copying export data to your clipboard when you click a copy action
- Optionally appending selected rows to your Google Sheet when you enable and authorize that feature
- Keeping local saved orders and scan metadata so duplicate processing can be reduced in future scans
Google account and Google Sheets access
Google account access is optional and only used for the Google Sheets append feature. When you choose to connect Google, OAuth is used to authorize spreadsheet access for your account. The extension does not collect your Google password. It uses Google-issued tokens to append rows to the specific sheet/tab you configure.
Your order data stays local unless you manually append rows (or enable auto-append). The extension does not send appended data to developer-owned servers.
Local storage
The extension stores data locally on your device using Chrome extension storage and IndexedDB. This may include filter values, profile names, column preferences, UI preferences, saved orders, scan metadata, and Google Sheets destination settings (such as sheet URL, tab name, start column, and append preferences). OAuth token cache data may also be stored locally for session continuity.
Clipboard use
When you click a copy/export action, the extension writes generated output to your clipboard so you can paste it into another application. Clipboard access is used only in response to your action.
Data sharing
The extension does not sell, rent, or share Amazon order data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Remote transmission
The extension may request Amazon pages needed for scans within your signed-in browser session. If you use Google Sheets append, selected row data is sent to Google Sheets APIs and written to the sheet you configured. Amazon order data is not transmitted to developer-owned servers.
Data retention and control
Locally stored extension data remains on your device until you clear it, remove the extension, or use in-app clear/reset controls. You can disconnect Google Sheets access in settings at any time.
Security
The extension is designed to process data locally and limit access to only required Amazon and Google endpoints for requested features. However, no software can guarantee absolute security.
